Review: Wizard Polytron Quadra (W7450), Performance Fast, More Screen Field
Four-core processor smartphone very much marketed by the global and local vendors. As in Polytorn recently launched smarphone Quadcore processor called Wizard Quadra series with model number W7450. Compared to the previous series, in addition to the increase in processor Polytron also expand the screen. What about the other features?
Dimension: 136x66x13mm, full touchscreen; plastics material; microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack port; volume buttons and the power / unlock;
Compared to its predecessor series, the shape of Quadra has not changed much. Polytron just change the dimensions of this smartphone so 1cm longer and slightly thicker. Still using plastic material, Quadra coat the back cover with a layer of matte finish that is not slippery when held and not easy to leave fingerprints.
Formed with the same curvature and wrapped with an elegant black color so impressed. At the rear LED lights Polytron also accompanied by a slightly protruding camera, thankfully with a leather case that is included in the sales package so keep the back flat when paired.
On the screen area Polytron also still put 3 pieces of virtual touchpad button at the bottom of the screen (Back, Home and Active menu). As for the placement of buttons and ports rather different, namely the top there is a 3.5 mm and a microUSB port. To the right are the volume rocker button and unlock / power.
Screen and OS
Touch screen TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 4.5-inch qHD 960 x 540 (240dpi), Gorilla Glass
Unlike the Crystal series that already uses AMOLED technology, in the Quadra series even wash off the technology. This is quite unfortunate because the technology is somewhat better than using a type of TFT.
However Polytron expand the display to 0.2 inches wider than its predecessor. Not only was the increase was also performed on the screen resolution and brightness are better. With this enhancement, pixel density and brightness appear less conspicuous than before, so it still displays sharp images and colors will still look bright. This is evidenced still good when viewed directly in the sun.
In addition to using OS Jellybean, Quadra also use typical interfaces Polytron. Judging from the looks, Polytron Quadra is still the same as its predecessor. By default the same as Crystal Wizard II, has 5 homescreen panels that will increase to 9 bua, along with increasing the installed applications. On the main menu, Quadra also do not use categorization apps and widgets, but only displays a list of applications only.
MTK 6589, CPU Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7, PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, 4 GB Internal memory, 1 GB RAM, external microSD, up to 32 GB
As described above, Polytron include processor with four cores on Quadra series, not only that merekq also doubles the capacity of RAM, so the speed difference is noticeable when using the app multitasking, with the activity of a variety of features simultaneously.
Unfortunately the changes are not made in the internal memory of 4GB which still remain. The memory of the user still can use up to 3GB approach, if less users can still add it by external memory up to 32GB microUSB. Polytron in the sales package also provides 8GB of memory.

Just as in the crystal II quadra series also features dual SIM slot, so as to accommodate two SIM cards at once. Both SIM cards can be active simultaneously pinned, because it already has the ability to dual on.
For internet access with 3G HSDPA data service can also be obtained via SIM1, SIM2 only temporary supports GPRS connection. users can also take advantage of the wifi connection. With the HTML browser also supports xHTML and flash, access to the site was a capable and all went smoothly features including pinch to zoom functionality.
